The Inpatient Pharmacy at Main Campus supports 60 Nursing Units, 80 Operating Rooms, 4 PACUs and 10 Cath Labs. As a Clinical Pharmacist in these areas, you will ensure patients receive their prescriptions accurately, timely and respectfully. You will appropriately select, dose, administer and dispense medications as indicated, helping provide the treatments they need to improve their health and well-being. A caregiver in this position works nights from 9:00PM 7:00AM. A caregiver who excels in this role will: Provide safe, efficient, patient-centered, evidence-based medication services. Verify medication orders and/or dispenses medications accurately according to state and federal regulations. Document services in a complete, accurate and timely manner. Actively contribute to medication safety initiatives. Ensure all pharmacy operations are in compliance with national accreditation standards. Directs staff appropriately to provide safe and efficient care and maintain professional working relationships with all caregivers. Educate and train students, residents, other caregivers and/or patients. Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: PharmD or Bachelors of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited college of Pharmacy Current State licensure as a Registered Pharmacist (RPh) or eligible for reciprocation in current state within 90 days of hire Completion of a Post-Graduate Year 1 Residency (PGY1), fellowship or relevant post-graduate pharmacy experience Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: Board Certification Our caregivers continue to create the best outcomes for our patients across each of our facilities. Manual dexterity sufficient to perform computer and dispensing functions of the job; ability to lift up to 30 lbs. Position often includes reaching, stretching, stooping, climbing steps and sitting. Must have normal or corrected vision.
