Medical Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated full time Medical Assistant to join our team for our endocrinology practice. The ideal candidate will assist in providing exceptional patient care working with our doctor and nurse practitioner. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing clinical duties and support the efficient operations of our office.

Responsibilities:
Assist physician during patient examinations
Take record of vitals
Prepare notes for exams and maintain patient records ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
Schedule patient appointments
Send refills and prior authorizations for medication
Download pump and CGM readings to chart
Other tasks supporting the office such as relaying lab results to patients

Requirements:
High school diploma
Previous experience in a medical setting is preferred
Strong knowledge of medical terminology
Proficient in using electronic medical records and technology
Ability to multitask and work efficiently independently
Compassionate and patient focused approach to care
