Our Hanford practice is seeking a Full Time Back Office Medical Assistant. This position is ideal for an individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, where multi-tasking skills are key. You will have a high degree of responsibility and will need to be able to work independently as well as part of a team.

This position will consist of but is not limited to the following:
Scheduling appointments, answering patient calls, scanning and faxing, vital intake, insurance knowledge, data entry into EHR, referrals, and/or other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Medical Assistant Certification
Valid CA Driver’s License/ID
Mandatory Qualifications:
Excellent customer service
Medical terminology
Excellent verbal/written communication skills
Strong computer skills
Comfort with interacting with elderly and disabled.

Preferred Qualifications:
EHR system experience (eCW)
Bilingual English/Spanish

Compensation will be based on experience

Pay Scale/Ranges:
$21.00-$39.50/hour (and the hourly equivalent for salaried employees).*
