Job Responsibilities

• Accurately process and submit medical claims to insurance companies, Medicare, and Medicaid.
• Review and verify patient information, insurance eligibility, and coding for accuracy.
• Follow up on unpaid claims and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Post payments, denials, and adjustments to patient accounts.
• Communicate with insurance providers and patients regarding billing inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare regulations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in medical billing, preferably in senior care or healthcare settings.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding.
• Proficiency in billing software and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

💰 Hourly Pay: $22.00-$27.00 per hour (DOE)
