Job Title: Pharmacy Technician Department: Retail Rx | OSU Outpatient Pharmacy Doan Position Summary The Outpatient Pharmacy Technician position functions to assist the licensed pharmacist in providing pharmaceutical services to patients and necessary services and information to nursing and medical staff. These services include: Preparation and packaging of medications Distribution of medications, supplies, and equipment Maintaining proper inventory levels Ensuring medications are in date and secure Keeping appropriate records and documentation Responsible for supporting initiatives of area supervisors and managers. Must complete PTCB certification within 6 months of hire, unless current PTCB certificate is in place upon hire. Minimum Required Qualifications High School graduate or equivalent. Certified Pharmacy Technician. 0 years of relevant experience required. 0-2 years of relevant experience preferred. Additional Information: Location: James Cancer Hospital (0375) Position Type: Regular Scheduled Hours: 40 Shift: Varying Shifts Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check.
